i have a lecturer, and he's cute. no, i don't mean the cute, young and dashing type. i mean just cute. he's too old for me to go gaga over. and he's married with kids. so he's outta my list! oh wait, since when did i have a list? *laughs* oh, nvm...

anyways, he's an african. why do i think he's cute?

just a few days ago, he was going over the quiz questions and answers, and one of them was about ambivalence. his explanation was cute. ambivalence actually means a compound that has a nucleophilic group at both ends. according to him, it's like for the first year you are walking on two legs but the next year you are walking upside down on two hands. any way is possible. well, you may not find it as funny as i have because it's a you-have-to-be-there kind of joke.

and he knows what sei wu guai is (loose translation: dead tortoise). he related it to easy questions which we couldn't get right. he said it was like sei wu guai. and his pronunciation was very cute.

another funny thing happened just this morning. i asked him to show us question 3 again because we wanted to copy it. he didn't catch what i said and he was like "satu?"

i said, "no, three."

and he went "satu?" again.

and i said, "no, three."

and then he went "huh? satu? dua?"

and i finally said, "no, tiga."

then he was like "oh! tiga!"

so cute! maybe that was why his malaysian wife fell for him. *laughs*
